Thread Master — you'd think this would be a collection achievement that just happens naturally as you play. And you'd be... mostly right. But some fabrics are surprisingly easy to miss.
I remember thinking I was doing great — I had like 6 fabrics unlocked, I was making good progress, and then... nothing. I just couldn't find the last couple. Turns out I was skipping some optional things.
💭 How I Got This Achievement
I got Thread Master after finishing the Golden Jubilee commission, and that's honestly the path I recommend.
Here's why: just by playing through the main story up to and including Golden Jubilee, you'll naturally unlock most fabrics. The shop upgrades alone give you several, and each major commission tends to unlock a new one.
The one I was missing was Silk Gold, which unlocks after Golden Jubilee specifically. I kept checking the shop wondering why it never appeared, not realizing it was story-locked.
Once I finished that commission, Silk Gold showed up in the shop the very next day, and the achievement popped immediately when I bought my first bolt.
📝 Step-by-Step Method
- Play through the main story — each commission tends to unlock something
- Upgrade your tailor shop whenever you can — higher levels unlock new fabric types in the shop
- Don't skip side commissions! Some fabrics are unlocked through side content
- Finish Golden Jubilee — this unlocks Silk Gold, which is usually the last one people are missing
- Check the shop regularly. New fabrics appear on certain days or after specific events
- Once you've bought at least one of 8 different types, the achievement is yours
😅 What I Did Wrong (So You Don't Have To)
- I didn't upgrade my shop enough. I was saving money for fabric instead of investing in the shop itself.
- I skipped some side commissions thinking they weren't important. Big mistake — some fabrics are only available through side content.
- I was only checking the shop on commission days. New stock appears on different days too!
💡 Pro Tips
- Upgrade your tailor shop to level 4 as soon as possible. That unlocks most fabrics right there.
- Golden Jubilee is the key commission — it unlocks Silk Gold, which is the rarest common fabric.
- Talk to the shopkeeper every time you visit. Sometimes they mention new fabrics arriving soon.
- You only need to OWN one of each type to count — you don't have to use them all at once.

You'll probably get this one naturally just by playing the game. The only people who struggle are those who rush through the main story without exploring or upgrading their shop.
